Mark & Amy are UCWDC (United Country Western Dance Council) Open Division 2 Competitors from Shrewsbury, MA. They have been dancing & competing since 2000, and have competed all over the country in both the UCWDC and WSDC (World Swing Dance Council) circuits. Mark is the current (2010) UCWDC Pro-Pro World Champion. Other major accomplishments include a 2nd place overall finish in Division 4 at the 2002 UCWDC World Championships, a 2nd place overall finish in Division 3 at the 2005 UCWDC National Championships, and intermediate and advanced WSDC status. They continue to compete nationally in the country and swing dance circuits and together they bring 20 years of competitive dance experience to the dance floor.

Over the past 4 years, many of Mark & Amy’s students have placed at national UCWDC dance events and others have simply gone from being newcomer dancers to great social dancers. Mark & Amy’s teaching style provides a comfortable environment for those brand new to dancing, social dancers, and competitive dancers.
